Altadena Community Garden

An extra-special handmade "thank you" card from local Girl Scout Troop 4601 thanking the Garden for its recent donation

Pictures from our 2017  Annual Picnic courtesy of LA County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, taken by her staff photographer Monica Almeida. A great time was had by all!

Harvest! The fruits of the season start coming in after a long summer!

4-H starts growing Altadena, and in the Garden! We're super excited to have a group of youngsters learn the love of the land here in our community! These pics are from Rick Mendoza of the Altadena Foothills 4-H.

Flowers! The Garden is full of flowers during much of the year.  Here's a sampling of the beauty we enjoy!

Cacti! Our Common Area includes a cactus garden that is a source of continuing amazement. Enjoy it with us! When they bloom, the flowers are sometimes as large as the cacti themselves!

Here are a sampling of recent photos from the Garden. We try to mix things up a bit and keep these fresh. You can always see the latest over at our Facebook page.  If you have pictures to share, please email them to us at . Thanks!

April 21, 2016 - Earth Day Event for Loma Alta Park "Tiny Tots" program participants enjoy an outing to the Garden and get to learn a little bit about how the food they eat grows.
